The Dose Unit Converter on PetDock converts units (mg, mg/mL, mL) for a dose that a veterinarian has already prescribed. It does not calculate, recommend, or validate any medication dose. Always follow your veterinarian's instructions exactly. If you are unsure about a prescribed dose, contact your vet or a veterinary pharmacist before administering any medication.

Formula Accuracy and Limitations

Calculators on PetDock use published, peer-reviewed formulas where available (e.g., the veterinary RER formula for food portions, epigenetic clock research for age conversion). However:

• Individual animals vary significantly from population averages
• Breed weight ranges reflect typical populations, not every individual
• Activity and climate adjustments are approximations
